Strobing makeup technique

Strobing makeup technique is a new trend that is picking up fast and kicking out that long exhausting dramatic contouring and highlighting. So what is strobing? Strobing is actually highlighting but not with a matte product, but rather with shimmery creams, liquids or powders. I decided to make a video to demonstrate how strobing is done with powders. I totally forgot that I could have shown you how to do it with liquid or creams. But you will get the gist of the idea and it will be super easy to recreate. Strobing is actually the real JLO glow. It makes your skin look luminous but it you do it wrong then it will make you look oily or even shimmery. What product you use, matters!

So here is a quick fun and simple tutorial showing you how to: strobing the makeup technique tutorial which is actually shimmery highlighting but got a cool new name.
