NYX Nude on Nude Palette for Spring 2011

NYX recenlty released a NEW palette NYX Nude on Nude. Some call it an Urban Decay’s Naked palette dupe. Even thought there are might be a color or two similar to UD Naked palette it’s really not a dupe at all. The colors are still wonderful and if you prefer natural colors then you will like this palette. The lighter colors are a bit less pigmented and I have read they tend to be chalky. NYX eyeshadows tend to run on the chalky side. The lip colors are OK they are a bit to sheer for me and seem more like lip-glosses than lipsticks.

This palette is a NYX nude on nude palette. I am not impressed with it since by now I have compared it with my Urban Decay Naked palette. I think that it doesn’t payoff to get this palette since the UD Naked (original) and Naked 2 palette are worth the extra $20. The shades are much more pigmented and the color payoff is high. Unlike the NYX Nude on Nude which has bad pigmenting and low color payoff. The only reason I would recommend buying this palette would be if you really don’t want to pay that much money for a nude palette. Then the set should be ok. I think that NYX has better palettes that have much better nude on nude shades.
