Today I am doing 2 quick reviews and swatches of two products and a look using them

L’oreal million lashes mascara in black

Let’s first look at L’oreals million lashes mascara (in black). In general, I am very satisfied with L’oreal products.

The packing is standard, while the brush (picture above) is one of the worst things I have ever experienced. why?

Since I have short but thick lashes brushes will usually come in contact with my upper lash water line, I am not sure if this is the case with other types of lashes, when I use the brush, since it’s plastic or some similar material, it scratches my lids and it’s quit painful. 🙁 Even though the mascara liquid is amazing and the brush does an amazing job with combing the lashes and applying the products. I hate that it scratches my upper lids. This is the only downfall of the mascara.

CONCLUSION

Will I buy it again? sadly no, even thought it is a good mascara the brush hurts my upper lids : (

REVIEW & SWATCHES CATRICE SMOKEY EYEs SET

Except their nail polishes & some lipsticks, Catrice is a VERY HIT OR MISS line. I desperately wanted this smokey eyes set to surprise me but again it was a disappointment. I would say stay away from this set it’s so poorly pigmented that it’s a joke. Even though the swatches seem good when I apply it on the eyes I have to put layer over layer over layer over layer over layer…

you will see below with my smokey eye look (the darker one) that it’s a very light smokey eye. I used everything that the smokey eyes set came with.

The smokey eyes set comes with:

an applicator

a black cream liner that can also be used as a black base (it will crease after some time)

and three colors

I really tried but I was totally not happy with the pigmentation of the eyeshadow and I think I will toss this in the bin.

CONCLUSION

poorly pigmented, cheap price, creases, chalky
