L’oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara Makeup Review

L’oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga mascara has been popping out of everywhere and I got it as a PR sample at the beauty blogger event which I attend. The mascara claims to offer big volume and a mega change. The brush is kind of revolutionary since it’s flexible and that honestly is a strange thing since we are not used to it. But L’oreal claims that the brush is ideal for lower lashes too because of it’s flexibility. The mascara comes in three shades: black, turquoise (bright blue) and purple (dark purple). The bristles on the brush go from thick to thin, bottom to top.

For this makeup review of L’oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga mascara, I wanted to write that I naturally have very short, if not extremely short lashes and most mascara do nothing for me. The mascara when applied with the brush feels very light and loose what is a strange feeling at first but you get used to it in seconds. The formula of the mascara is thick and full of fibres. The mascara will clump after you apply 3 or more layers, what is common for most mascaras which I have tested or used. I think that pictures will speak the best when it comes to the “manga” effect which the TV ads claim.

L’oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara Makeup Review

I have used the L’oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga mascara multiple times in different ways. The first time I applied it was with one layer of mascara. It looked better on my lashes than most mascaras. Then I applied a second layer and let it dry my lashes seemed longer and fuller at the base. When I applied a third and final coat of the mascara my lashes never looked longer or fuller, wait I am wrong. The only time my lashes looked this full and long was when I used to buy DiorShow mascara which is cray cray expensive. I can confirm that this mascara really made my lashes look better and I felt that it was ideal for my everyday makeup looks so that I do not have to apply fake lashes on a daily base. The only thing I do recommend is waiting for each layer to dry in between to avoid it getting too clumpy. If you liked DiorShow you might actually like this mascara, but at a much cheaper price. I also think that this mascara brush (wand) is really good for your lower lashes.
