Biopha nature eau micellaire (micellar water) makeup review

If you checked your local drugstore you might have noticed more and more micellaire fluids popping up with each brand. The first and most loved micellar water was by Bioderma Sensibio H20 Solution Micellaire water. I have already reviewed this and will not be mentioning or reviewing it too much in this makeup review of Biopha nature Eau micellaire (micellar water), but I will be comparing it to this product. Now let’s get down to a few most important facts. The Biopha nature micellar water claims that you do not need to rinse your face after you use this product since it contains ingredients that are ecological and organic certified. The formula is suitable for sensitive skin and balances the skin’s PH level without over drying it. It also contains Aloe vera and blueberry that soften and hydrate the skin.

Biopha nature eau micellaire micellar water review

The Biopha Nature micellar water comes in a plastic bottle, which contains 400ml. The price is cheaper than Bioderma but does contain 100ml less. The shelf life of the micellar water is 9 months after opening and should be kept at room temperature between 15 – 25*C. After testing this product for over a month I can honestly compare it to my Bioderma micellar. I want to first mention that my skin is combination to oily, sensitive and acne prone. My skin breaks out to some non-organic ingredients but I honestly do not know which ones. The smell of the Biophra nature micellar water reminds me of marzipan. The scent is very mild and fades quickly after you apply the water on your face.

Biopha micellar water makeup review

Biopha micellar water does remove all of my makeup even waterproof just as my Bioderma, but both of them do not remove my eye makeup (waterproof or not). Micellar waters aren’t oily enough to remove eye makeup and this is not a surprise at all, not for me at least. I find that I personally like this micellar water more than my Bioderma, because it notably cheaper, more organic and kind of gives my oily skin a tug. I do have to mention that it does mildly “drys” your skin, this is only a problem for dry skin types, while we that are on the oilier side, will love this micellar water, since it does help control my oils. I do have to mention that even though it claims that you do not have to rinse your skin after applying the micellar water, I do rinse my face since it does contain alcohol. I find it funny that it does contain alcohol and it’s intended for sensitive skin. My sensitive skin does get a tingly feeling after I use this micellar water, but this also happens with my Bioderma or any other face tonic.

Biopha nature micellar water makeup review

To complete this makeup review of Biopha Nature micellar water, I want to say that I do like this more than Bioderma and plan to rebuy it, on that same note I want to mention that I will be buying other micellar waters that have appeared at my local drugstore just to try them out to see if there is any micellar water on the market that can remove eye makeup without irritating my skin around the eyes. I strongly believe I won’t but I am willing to give it a try. Overall I am very pleased with this product and do recommend it for people that have oily and sensitive skin and that are on a budget or that do not have Bioderma available in their local drugstore.
