The Royal Wedding recap / Kraljevsko vjenčanje kratki pregled

First I will be writing this post in Croatian, the later text will be in English. This post will contain ALOT of pictures. Thank you for understanding!

Prvo pišem na hrvatski i onda na engleski. Ovaj članak će sadržiti mnogo slika sa vjenčanja. Hvala na razumjevanju!

 

Prijenos vjenčanja je negdje počelo oko 10 ujutro. Sve skupa prijenos na HRT2 je trajao 5 sati! Nemogu vjerovati da je tako dugo trajao.

Kada idete na Britanska Kraljevska vjenčanja onda ima “dress code” tj. određen način kako se moraš obući. Mislim da u vrijeme Lady D je bilo malo rigoroznije nego danas.
Dress Code je:

1. šeširi 
2. često sa perjem (za ovo nisam sigurna ali sam to čula)

oficijalno na pozivnici:

1. uniforma (uniform)
2. morning coat 
3. lounge suit

The live broadcasting started around 9 am (GMT). A live broadcast was possible to view online on Youtube.
When you are about to attend a Royal Wedding, there is a specific “dress code”. I think in Lady D’s era the dress code was a bit more rigorous.
The Dress code was:

1. Lady hats (love them 😀 ) 
2. something with feathers (? not sure about this) 

Officially on the invite the dress code was stated:

1. uniform
2. morning coat 
3. lounge suit

Jedan od prvih slavnih osoba koje su bili viđeni su “The Beckhams” Victoria je bila tipična Victoria sva u crnome. Meni osobno je bila sexy i vrlo elegantna iako nisam ljubitelj crne boje na vjenčanima bila je OK. Jako mi se dopao njena mala elegantna kapica 😀 ali štikle .. ne hvala.. Njen muž je nosio prigodno odjelo i vrlo je elegantno izgledao. Smješio se cijelo vrijeme.

One of the first celebrities which was broadcasted on TV were the Beckhams.  Victoria wore a typical Victoria dress, dressed in black. I personally liked it. It was elegant even thought I do not like when people wear black to a wedding. Loved the hat it went perfectly with the dress. The shoes were amazing but the heels were wow high! not for me 🙂
Her Hubby was dressed like a gentle men wearing a handsome smile the whole time.

Nakon toga je viđe Mr. Bean iako ja njega nisam vidila. I onda su počeli prikazivati ostale slavne, Elton John i uža rodbina, Queen Elisabeth….etc.

A few moments after that Mr. Bean was announced on the telly. Then they started announcing other celebrities such as Elton John, after which other family members starte to arrive such as Queen Elizabeth.

Mislim da smo čekali oko sat ili sat i pol da se pojavi Kate. Prije dolazka Kate je došao William sa Bratom. William je odabrao crvenu uniformu dok mu je brat odabrao crnu uniformu koja je bila malo više kičasta tj. imala je više detalja. Meni se osobno nije svidjela crvena uniforma jer smatram da bih mu plava uniforma bolje pristala, da postoji, ali opet bolje crveno nego crno kao mladoženja na vlastitom vjenčanju.

I think that we waited a good 1 hour or 1 1/2  before Kate appeared. She was the last one on the list as in any wedding. Prince William and Harry arrived minutes before the rest of the family. William decided to wear a red uniform, while Harry wore a black one. I personally didn’t fancy the red uniform, if only he could have worn a blue one it would have suited him much better. I do believe wearing red is much better than wearing black at your own wedding.

Njena majka, Carole Middleton, se obukla u predivno svjetlo plavo odjelo sa prekrasnim šeširom. Haljinu je kreairala Cathrine Walker.

Kate Middleton’s mother, Carole Middleton, wore a beautiful sky blue coat dress with matching hat. The dress was designed by Catherine Walker.

Nakon što je krenula prema katedrali onda su svi počeli nagađati tko je kreator njene haljine.
Njenu haljinu je kreirala Sarah Burton, Alexander McQueen. Kate je htjela izmješati tradicionalno i nešto moderno. Iskreno znala sam da će ovu haljinu uzeti onda je meni bila prvi izbor. 
Meni se osobno haljina jako svidjela. Mislim da je haljina vrlo “ona” tj. tipično za njen skroman stil.
Otac ju je dopratio do oltara.

After Kate started walking up the alley everyone was guessing the designer. Catherine Middleton’s Wedding Dress was designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. I knew that Kate wanted something modern mixed with tradition. I really liked the dress but to one point, I am not sure if the materials blended well, but still she looked amazing. The style of the dress reflect Kates “media presented character” modest and simple. I knew Kate was going to pick this (type of) dress.

 

 

I myself would have chosen a pinkier blush and more highlighting.

Katedrala je bila prekrasna, puno povjesti i ljepote. Nisam sigurna iz koje je doba crkva no prekrasna je. Na oltaru ju je čekao nje Prince William i Harry. Do oltara u je otpratio otac i predao ju je Williamu.

The Cathedral was amazing, filled with history and antique beauty. Not sure which era it was built in but still it was very nice. Prince William and Harry awaited Kate at the oltar. She was ushered to the alter by her father.

  

Mislim da veličina žena na vjenčanju su nosili male šešire. Kolik ja znam to je tradicionalna dio svako vjenčanja u velikoj britaniji, no međutim sigurno se svi nje ne pridržavaju. Evo par slika sa zanimljivim šeširima.

I think that most women, if not all of them, wore amazing mini hats, some nice than others. This is a traditional wear at weddings in Great Britain, or at least in most places in the UK. Here are a few pictures with a few very interesting hats.
