The Best Meditation App
I will be updating this post with the best Meditation apps out there today. First, let me write about the one that I personally love. I have been using it on and off for over a year. Meditation has been proven to help reduce stress and anxiety; especially when done on a regular base. This app is considered, based on their websites, to be the #1 meditation app online today. The app was created by Alex Tew – Calm Co-Founder, Michael Acton-Smith – Calm Co-Founder and Tamara Levitt who is Head of Content.
Calm brings clarity, joy and peace to your daily life. It offers a life-changing benefits of meditation and mindfulness
Calm is all about mindfulness, the practice of paying attention to our thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. The Clam loves to sharing stories, insights, tips and tools that help focus on reducing anxiety, moving through hardships, getting better sleep, deepening self-compassion, and improving relationships. They offer the Calm app and their book. The app has a 5-star rating from 12,154 users in App Store and a 4.5 rating from 51,810 users in Google Play Store.
Don’t have a mobile phone? No worries, you can use the app on their website. I love to use their music as background music when I do Yoga.
While I’d never claim that meditation fixes everything, I can say it’s transformed my life – Tamara Levitt
After using the app for free over the past year, I can confirm that it is one of my favorite apps for meditation. I at times just enjoy listening to the music because it is that meditative. I have used the unlocked version when I first signed up. I have to say that it helped me relax. When they introduced the sleep stories, I had a free trial. I liked it but not as much as I liked their daily meditative messages. I did, however, find the advice which came from a psychologist on how to fall asleep extremely helpful as being a person that has a hard time falling asleep.
Overall, this is a 4.5 app which I would recommend is a perfect meditation starter app.
