You might have seen me use my newest PR samples from Makeup revolution on my latest makeup tutorial. I have already done a few tutorials using makeup revolution. I recently found out about the brand and I ♡ (Heart) Makeup I Heart Chocolate Palette was sent to me for a makeup review and swatches. I also got another makeup palette and a few other goodies that I will be reviewing in the upcoming few days. Makeup Revolution I Heart Chocolate Palette

Makeup Revolution claims that the I heart chocolate palette is not only a yummy looking palette but that it contains a healthy and evenly balanced mix of 16 shades of mattes and shimmers. On the web, this palette has been crowned as the official dupe for the Too Faced Chocolate bar palette. I do not have the palette personally, but I do have a few makeup artist friends that have it. I mean as we all know, a dupe is called a dupe because it’s similar but never identical to be honest. Concerning the palette, visually it looks similar and even the colors of the shadows within the palette are similar, you can see a the too faced chocolate bar swatches by blogger love2primp.org she has some solid swatches.

Now after you compare my swatches of I heart chocolate palette and love2primp swatches of chocolate bar you can see the similarities between the palettes. The key difference between most dupes is the intensity of the color payoff. I am certain that too face chocolate bar is a tad better but I heart makeup did not stay far behind with the pigmentation with the majority of shades, exclusions a rare few. The I heart chocolate palette swatches were taken with a mildly moist application wand since I always have a base when I apply eyeshadow to get the most, I even do this with all of my high end eye shadows. The eye shadows come in a very cute and sturdy palette, which does, contains a mirror the opposite side of I heart chocolate eye shadows.

Overall, the eye shadows in I ♡ (Heart) Makeup I Heart Chocolate Palette, even the lightest ones, are impressively pigmented. There is fallout and some of the darker shades are a tad sensitive to touch, but they are creamy and glide one easy. If you loved the pigmentation of Wet N Wild 8 icon eye shadow palettes, then you will love this palette. Truly a good more affordable dupe that has very similar colors and good color payoff, worth the buy in my books, just look at the pictures if you do not believe me, the swatches speak for themselves. Worth the buy, budget shoppers or makeup hoarders and lovers, I find this an amazing deal!
