You might have read my previous review of Vichy idealia eye contour cream and how I complained that my under eye area is in desperate need of hydration. This is why I didn’t use the Vichy eye cream to long since I was already using another eye cream which offered hydration. Balea Aqua eye cream gel is a unscented cream which promises to hydrate the skin since it is intended for very dry skin. I know that this cream came in a roll ball version but I got the squeeze tube. usually I do not buy Balea product since I have had bad experience with their products.

The Balea Aqua eye cream gel promises to offer an intensive and long lasting moisturizing effect which smooths, refreshes and helps prevent puffiness. The eye cream-gel is lightweight, oil free and which the skin should absorb quickly without leaving any residue. The cream gel contains algae extracts, vitamin B5, and thermal water. So this product promises many things but most important this product promised to help very dry skin, which my under eye area is. So I tested this product for about 4 – 5 week, twice a day and this 15 ml was more than enough, you just need one small pea size for both eyes.

For this beauty product review of Balea aqua eye cream gel I can state that I was very surprised by this product. I really didn’t have any hopes for it but I did hope that it would somewhat moisturize my skin since I found that my Body Shop Vitamin E cream was ok but I needed a change. The Balea aqua cream gel is really light weight, my skin absorbs it instantly. the hydration effect is not all day long or better said long lasting but I would rather say that I needed to reapply it after 6 hours. I found that it was a good day eye cream but not enough hydrating for night care. The cream gel has no noticeable scent what i really liked. I felt that my under eye area was hydrated but I have used better product. I found it to be a good product to use before I apply my makeup since it’s not to oily or cream that it would move my concealer around.

Overall, this Balea aqua eye cream gel was a good cream in some moments and in others I wished it was more hydrating. I think that it was good for my makeup and day care needs but it wasn’t hydrating enough my my night care routine.
