A while back I bought the MUA cosmetics cover and conceal wand and used it for personal use. Today’s makeup review will contain swatches and a short summary of this product of does it deliver what I promises and if I over all liked it. Since I am a PRO makeup artist, I usually work with pro products, but that usually means mixing and matching. There are times in the day when I do not want to mix and match and just reach for my drugstore products to make it painless and fast. MUA cosmetics claims that this is a lightweight cover-up for imperfections and it will offer a flawless finish. The concealer is recommended as the perfect under eye concealer and also for spot covering on the face which is easy to blend.

On their website the MUA cover and conceal wand has a high makeup review of 4.5/5, based on 23 people which have reviewed the product. You can choose from three shades, all three are pretty light. Even though I see myself as being quite light skinned, I took the shade neutral. Neutral is a light peach shade that is good for concealing under eye bags. I found that this shade gives a nice natural looking highlight effect also. I have some minor under eye bags and feel that it covers it successfully, but if they were any darker I am not sure how well they would cover.

The texture is very light and creamy and it is easy to blend and it feels very smooth on the skin. I think it’s idea for the under eye area not only for concealing but more for highlighting. The longevity of the product is ok but not as long as one would want or need it to be. Over all this an ok drugstore product, but I will not be repurchasing it since I need something that last longer. I am fine with the coverage power but I think that for people with noticeable bags this will not offer the coverage, which they want, but if you want a cheap highlighter for highlighting and contouring for day wear this MUA Cosmetics Cover & Conceal Wand is ok.
