Makeup Revolution Salvation Intense lip lacquer in shade more than I could give review & swatches
You might have read my previous Makeup Revolution reviews and if you have then you know that I do have a special place in my heart for this brand. I recently discovered it and fell in love with it. It’s a drugstore brand based on prices but quality is close to high end. This of course varies like with any brand depending on the product. I remember when I once tried Chanel eye shadows; boy did the pigmentation on them suck. Today I’m reviewing another PR sample which was sent to me by their PR agent, I got sent a while back by Makeup Revolution, their Salvation Lip Lacquers in the shade more than I could give.
Makeup Revolution more than I could give
The Makeup Revolution more than I could give shade is a beautiful nude pink shade which is a bit lighter than my natural red toned lips. This is a very good shade for nude lips without being to wash out and sickly nude. If you are faired skinned then this shade might be identical to your lip color. I have read other reviews of people that are very fair and the color matched their lip color perfectly. The best thing about the lip lacquers is that they are very opaque. I really didn’t expect this. If you have chapped lips then this (like most products) will settle into the fine lines of your lips. If your lips are nourished and pampered then this will not settle into the fine lines of your lips and will look very natural.
Makeup Revolution Salvation makeup review
Another thing I wanted to mention in the makeup review of Makeup Revolution salvation lip lacquers have a light and faint smell of a very pleasant vanilla scent, which does fade very fast. It’s not at all a strong scent. The pigmentation of this shade is very strong. The wear time of the lip lacquers is similar to lip-glosses around 2 hours then you will need to reapply. The applicator is a doe foot applicator that helps the lip lacquer glide on with ease. The finish of the lacquers is a semi-dewy finish. It’s not as glossy as lipstick but it’s not matte. It does remind me of my moist lipsticks. It looks natural and nice on the lips. The formula is not sticky. Besides that, the product comes in a beautiful metallic rose gold paper packaging while the tube is plastic and sturdy and it can be transported without any problem in a purse.
Makeup Revolution Salvation Intense lip lacquer swatches
You can see my swatches of the Makeup Revolution Salvation Intense lip lacquer in shade more than I could give. You can see it swatched on my hand and on my lips that were chapped and have naturally more red tone to them. Overall the company promise of getting intense lips with high shine color was justified. The company’s claims are true and you get an amazing product for a very reasonable price of £3. I find that this a very good lip product and would love to try the other shades, maybe a few darker shades which compliment my natural lip color more. But I do recommend this for people looking for a true pink nude shade or for fair lip colors.
