Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot Cream beauty product review

Vichy Normaderm Hyluspot Cream Review

Today’s beauty product review is Vichy Normaderm Hyluspot Cream, which is a spot treatment cream product. I got this product when I attended the first Beauty Blog Day Croatia 2013. So I guess this is kind of a PR sample but this is not a paid post nor am I affiliated with them. Just to put it out there. I saw this product, before I got it, on TV and was like sure OK whatever. I already tried their Vichy Normaderm face cream and was not satisfied with it at all to be honest. That was a product that I regretted buying since it didn’t work for me at all. My  face does breakout with acne from time to time, so I loved using a product that my doctor gave me but sometimes it just too strong and overly dries my skin.

What is Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot Cream

Now before I continue my beauty product review of Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot Cream. I wanted to write what kind of skin type I have, I have combined to oily and acne prone skin. So this review is purely based on my skin type and might vary for different skin types. The product claims that it’s a fast acting cream that helps tackle imperfection prone skin. The cream is a fast acting spot care cream which works on one acne at a time. It claims (at least on TV) that within 3 days your acne will be gone. I felt 100% sceptic about this product since I have tried a million similar products and none (except one) has worked. But I was willing to give it a try since my skin broke out!

Does Vichy Normaderm Hyluspot Cream work?

The product comes in a small squeeze tube that contains 15 ml of product. It’s very small and practical so you can keep it in a small purse or small makeup travel bag. The gel that comes out of the metal applicator nozzle is invisible with no scent. You have to gently coat the targeted area and expect to see some results (in some cases) within the first 2 hours. The product contain 1% Hyaluronic Acid (moisturizes and has anti-inflammatory benefits) and 1.5% Salicylic Acid (to pull blemish impurities to the surface). Combining these two you can expect acne free skin with no scars. Now does it work like that? I have to write that I was VERY skeptic but gave it a go on a brand new acne that just appeared a day ago. I applied the Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot Cream on the spot twice a day and just after one day I saw my acne retracting, by the third day my acne was gone and I got no scar. To my surprised this beauty product review of Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot Cream was very successful!

Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot Cream beauty product review conclusion

To complete this beauty product review of Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot Cream, I would like to add that I did test this on my acne that is grows under my skin and never really emerges on top. I did the same procedure for three days and the acne did retract a bit but it’s still present. This is day four now and my cystic acne is almost gone. I do believe that by tomorrow it will be fully gone. I am very surprised with this product since the face cream that I used didn’t work for me but I can confirm that this product has proved to be much better than the cream which my doctor recommended. It is also gentler on my skin than my other acne creams which over dry my skin. It really works on the targeted area only and within three days it helps the acne retract. If you are an adult or even teen, I do recommend only using this as a spot treatment. It really worked for me as promised to my honest surprise.

My new HG acne spot treatment cream.

  1. Thank you for an awesome review!! Between this and La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Plus, which one would you prefer?

    • they are both good. But this one is only for spot treatment and as I wrote takes up to 3 days to see results while for me personally La Roche Posay is an actual face cream which targets the entire area affected for example, if you have from the hollows of your cheeks to your chin you have a few or many acne spots, I would then rather recommend the La Roche-Posay. If you commonly have like 3 spots on your face then this might be better to just control the spots.
