Makeup Review: Catrice Absolute Eye Colour Eyeshadow in 540 Rose Marie’s Baby & 580 Carrot Of The Caribbean
Today’s makeup review is Catrice Absolute Eye Colour Eyeshadow in 540 Rose Marie’s Baby & 580 Carrot Of The Caribbean. This was a PR product that was sent to me along with another few other items. I am not affiliate or paid to write this review. The Catrice Absolute is Catrice Absolute Eye Colour Eyeshadows are monos that are claimed to be pigmented, and have a mono effect. The mono eye shadows come in satin, shimmering, pearl and satin textures. Based on the website we have many light reflecting pigmented eye shadows so let’s see what the two shades 540 Rose Marie’s Baby & 580 Carrot Of The Caribbean seem like.
Makeup Review Catrice Absolute Eye Colour Eyeshadow 580 Carrot Of The Caribbean
First let’s talk about Catrice Absolute Eye Colour Eyeshadow in 580 Carrot Of The Caribbean. You can see based on the swatches that this is mono eye shadow that is well pigmented to my honest surprise since as I mentioned before, Catrice eye shadows in the past were a hit or a miss. This is a medium orange shade that has a noticeable golden sheen to it. I have to admit that while testing this product for my makeup review when the product was applied dry and with an eye primer the pigmentation was very strong. The eye shadow truly popped and the mono effect of the golden sheen was noticeable a lot when using a primer.

Now let’s talk about Catrice Absolute Eye Colour Eyeshadow in 540 Rose Marie’s Baby. You can see based on the swatches that this is a cool shade of pink with a pearl effect. The eye shadow is paler so it has a very subtle effect when you apply it to the skin. For some, this might be a good highlighter shade for the tear duct and below eyebrow area. The eye shadow, just like Catrice Cosmetics 580 carrot of the Caribbean, is all so to my surprise well pigmented even without a primer; with a primer the eye shadow truly gets that shimmery effect.
Makeup Review Catrice Absolute Eye Colour Eyeshadow Conclusion
Now to complete this makeup review of Catrice Absolute Eye Colour Eyeshadows, I have to mentione that the packaging of the eye shadows comes in a sleek plastic clear packaging that I personally really like. I like that you can see the shade without opening the top. The texture of both eye shadows is soft and glides on with ease. The shadows both blend well and I had no problems with them. The lasting power without a primer is long and it doesn’t crease, while with a primer the color is more intense and the mono effect is very visible. Overall these two shades are very pigmented and I have to mention that 580 Carrot of the Caribbean is a really good dupe for lime crime’s eye shadow incantation from the alchemy palette. I am not a fan of these very bright pink eye shadows but because it has a pearl effect it really is a good highlighter eye shadow. So this completed the makeup review is Catrice Absolute Eye Colour Eyeshadow in 540 Rose Marie’s Baby & 580 Carrot Of The Caribbean.
