Summer Escape beauty event by Biotherm and Clarisonic

A few weeks ago I attended “Summer Escape” beauty event by Biotherm and Clarisonic. I just haven’t had the time to write about it due to my busy schedule. Here is a short summary of the event. The event I did get some PR samples, as like with all event and to make it transparent they were the mentioned products below. You might have read a few of reviews, such as the Biotherm biosource self foaming cleaning water review, and other reviews I have written over the past few months and I do like some of their products. Summer has been trick this year, since after this event is has only been rain, but now they are predicting only hot summer days and night what I am looking forward to, so I can escape to the local pools and get some tan.

Summer Escape beauty event

The summer escape beauty event was a totally flashback of summer, it looks like we were at the beach. Biotherm presented a few new products and I got in my goodie bag the Biotherm Purefect skin cleansing gel for combination to oily skin. I also got the Biotherm Aquasource face cream, which offers even more hydration than the CC gel. I have been testing the cleansing gel and expect a review soon. I will be testing the aquasource face cream in the next 3 weeks so expected a review after the test period.

Clarisonic Mia 2

During the event we were introduced to the Sonic bar which consisted of the Clarisonic Mia 2 which cleans the face of all impurities not in a circular motion but a vibration motion which “pulls” the bristles left and right to avoid damaging the skin, unlike other similar products. This product penetrates deep into the skin to clean not only the surface of the skin, but also your pores. A few of my beauty blogger friends love this product, but also a few just didn’t get along. Besides being the best skin-cleansing tool on the market, Clarisonic is also waterproof. One ore thing which we did learn is that Clarisonic launched the Mia 2 which is intended for the face, while Clarisonic Plus is for the face and body what I personally like more since I do usually give my body a good deep scrub due to me self tanning lately. Comparing it to my Sigma Beauty cleansing and polishing tool, I can say this is better but the Sigma Beauty one is cheaper. Since I have very thin, sensitive skin, I am not allowed to use this kind of scrubbing products more than twice a week or it flares up my acne. In short it really did sound like an amazing product, but at this point, the Clarisonic Mia 2 is a bit expensive for my own personally budget because I fear that it will cause a flare up with my acne, but I am more leaning towards the Clarisonic Plus, since I can use it on my body and I strongly believe that this would give a good body scrub and just make it easier.

Biotherm Pure-fect skin & Aquasource

After the Sonic Bar, we went to see some newer products from Biotherm, the Pure-fect skin collection for combination to oily skin and the Biotherm aquasource collection. The Biotherm Aquasource collection consists of the Biotherm Aquasource CC gel, eye gel cream, 48 hour hydrating cream and the well loved and praised serum. Which I tested during the event and it felt amazing! Biotherm is internationally know to own and be the only cosmetics brand which uses thermal plankton cellular water and a new patented Mannose, which is able to act on epidermis deep layers. The thermal plankton cellular water is rich with 36 vital nutrients including vitamins, minerals, amino-acids. There is not point in writing about these collections since I have and plan to review a few more products from each of these collection, so make sure to stay tune.

Biotherm Lait Corporel body milk & Body Sculpter

The next table’s focus was Biotherm products intended for body care. Biotherm Lait Corporel body milk is intended for dry skin and promises a smooth, fabulous fresh instant skin recovery effect. I know that a few of the other bloggers there did say that they used it or their mothers and that they do love it. I personally have not tried it. Also we were introduced to the Biotherm Body Sculpter, which is uses red algae extracts, and 5% pure caffeine that offers a slimming effect and a firmer body. The company claims that visible results (if used as instructed and with a healthy diet and exercise) show visible results in 7 days.

The last things that I did notice on a ladder display were skin care products for men. the picture below will show these products since I didn’t get enough information about them to be able to write up on it. I do have a man in my house that regularly tests out some skin care products, which I cannot use.

At the end of the event, we were offered some yummies and the best thing from it was the blue macaroons, coconut heaven.

Sadly, a few days after the event, my laptop did a 360 and deleted all my pictures off my laptop. If you would like to see more pictures from this event, please check out these bloggers beautyandsweets and beautyblogette (these posts are only in Croatian).
