Skinfood Honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil Beauty Product Review

Skin Food Honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil review

Skinfood honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil Beauty Product Review is finally, yes finally here. I postpone some reviews just because I get other similar products and want to compare test them to each other before I release a review. Ok so, this product was shipped to me from Asian. I cannot remember from where but I did buy it on Ebay, you can read my article as to where I buy my Asian Cosmetics. The Skin Food Honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil is going to focus on describing what this product is and would I recommend it. When I bought this product I was on a hunt to find that perfect cleansing oil since up until that moment I didn’t find anything that could remove my makeup with one swipe. I searched online and found another Asian beauty blogger that wrote about this Skin Food Honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil  so I said I will give it a try to see how well it removed my heavy makeup.

Skinfood honey Black Tea Review

This Skinfood Honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil is a non-sticky but rather it’s a soft cleansing oil that contains black tea extracts (plus other teas) and honey to give a deep moisture and exfoliation while leaving the skin refreshed and lustrous. This product is part of the Skinfood Honey Black Tea line which is intended for dry skin. This product removes makeup but also moisturizes, exfoliates and cleans your pores. This is what the site claims about  Skinfood Honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil and for now it sounds perfect right?! After putting it to the test for a few weeks I can summarize this review in the following way. The cleansing oily comes in  a plastic bottle that is very pretty and contains 170 ml of product. The bottle is sturdy and will not break or shatter if it falls, tuss the beauty of plastic bottles over glass.

Skinfood Honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil Pros & Cons

Now to focus on the beauty product review pros & cons. Skinfood Honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil  pros are that it comes in a plastic bottle that isn’t too big and you can carry it with your in a travel bag. The price is reasonable since it is the famous Asian brand, I think drugstore like brand. It contains honey and black tea what is considered to be good for dry skin. Skin Food Honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil texture is quite thick and slippery. It doesn’t leave an oily feeling but rather a super hydrating layer what is horrible for my oily skin. This is why after every use I have to wash my face. This might not be a problem for very dry skin. The bottle does not have a pump so when using the product it can get messy fast. Since it’s a slippery oil, be careful to not drop the bottle if the oil gets on your your fingers. The product did remove my foundation with a few swipes, at this time it was the best thing that I have used, but it didn’t manage to fully remove my waterproof mascara. But, the number 1 reason why I stopped using this product was because of the smell. The cleansing oil has a very strong honey/floral smell, which is very quite aggressive and I personally cannot handle it. I personally only like honey if I am sick and in my tea. In general I hate honey, the smell and the taste.

Skinfood Honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil Review summary

To sum up this beauty product review of Skinfood Honey Black Tea Cleansing Oil, I can say that it did a good job in removing my heavy makeup. I was using another product which was my HG product and now I have a problem since this one removes my makeup much better but I cannot bear the smell. I would recommend this product to anyone that has very dry or dry skin (since this line is intended for them to start off with). I find that the oil is very hydrating what would on the long run cause many problems for my combination, oily and acne prone skin. The reasons why I will not continue to use this product is because of the smell (which I mentioned a few times), no pump, and it’s hard to get a hold of since it’s shipped to me from Asia.
