A while back I bought the Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead 3-Step Kit. For the makeup review of this product, I tested it on a male friend that had quite a few blackhead issues. I always feel that men have more blackheads on their nose and are ideal for projects like this. Since I do not have to many blackheads, I thought it would be a waste of product to test it on my nose and decided to test it on a friend’s nose who has noticeable blackheads to see if this thing really works. I mean when we are testing something, best is always to test it on someone who already has that targeted “issue” to see the best and most noticeable results.

The Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead 3-Step Kit, claims that using the three action steps, it will unclog pores, refine skin texture and it will deeply cleanse the skin of any blackheads. So in order to start this program, it’s recommended that you get the three step program. I bought the three step one time use kit. Which I found would be best to buy to first test and see if this actually works and if it does then I would buy the bigger packaging which I know that they do offer. I will go in more details about each step below, but in short here is what it does. The first step cleanses, exfoliates and opens the pores, plus removes any dead cells. After that step two absorbs the blackheads with that bandage like nose tape thing. The last and final step, step three, closes the pores. I took step by step pictures of before and after so that you can see what results, if any were visible using this Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead 3-Step Kit.

Cleanse your nose and then open step one and place it on the nose for 15 – 20 minutes. When I opened the Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead step 1, I notices that the nose mask was cotton texture (or something like it) and it was wet. The serum dripped all over the place so I had to be fast. The nose mask is cut so you can place it on the nose in the correct way so that it covers the entire nose. I left the mask on a bit longer than recommended. You can look at the picture below to see if the pores looked a bit more relaxed and open. The patch does not dry up, it just stays moist and relaxes the pores and preps them for the next step.

After you are done with step one, remove the nose mask slowly then wipe and moisten the nose with warm water and place the nose strip from package number two. Make sure to press it firmly so that it covers the entire targeted area and leave on the nose 10 – 15 minutes until it hardens. Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead step 2 nose strip is very similar if not identical to all the other nose patched which absorb blackheads on the nose, it fits even a big nose. After the 15 minutes are up, slowly remove the strip off the nose. I recommend pulling lightly from one side to the other side. Holika Holika pig nose step 3 is the final step. Apply the nose strip from number 3. Let it stay on the nose for 5 – 10 minutes, also since this last nose strip is quite slippery, make sure to gently massage it on the nose to fixate it on the nose. When the time is up, make sure to remove the nose strip in an upward movement. Then they recommend that you apply toner to close your nose pores.

To sum up the review of Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead 3-Step Kit, I would like to add a few thoughts. If you liked what you saw, I recommend you first get this 3-Step Kit. This is the smartest way to test a product without losing money. If you really like the product, then buy the larger packaging of each step. The Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead 3-Step Kit, is practical and even a good gift. The down side of products like this is that they are time consuming. You will need an average around 45 minutes to get this all done. This might be a hassle for some while for other after Sunday’s lunch you can go and pamper your nose. For me personally, I think this kit did a good job in removing a large number of blackheads. Due to step one the nose strip from step two has a much deeper and stronger grip on the blackhead removing more than what other nose strips do. I am not sure how well step 3 closed the pores, I didn’t notice any change there. I think that this 3-step kit it worth the money and did a better job than most other brands, but I would skip step 3 and just wash the nose plus use a toner to close the pores. I have not yet found any other brand that offers something like this Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead 3-step kit which is a shame.
