During my summer holidays, I used SunDance sensitive Apres Balsam (after sun lotion for sensitive skin) so here is my makeup review of this product. My friend recommend to me that I use an after sun lotion since this helps the skin get the required hydration after sun bathing. I was looking at the sun tanning products shelf and didn’t notice anything that I wanted, but also told myself that if I am already buying the SunDance sonnenmilch (sunscreen milk) that I should as well buy the same after sun lotion since those two might work well together. I do have to write that I do have dry and sensitive skin all over my body and that I really wanted to try something since my skin does get a bit tight after sun bathing.
What is SunDance sensitive apres balsam
For the makeup review of SunDance sensitive Apres Balsam, I would like to mention a few facts and what the company claims. The packaging is very standard plastic, no frills. The top is one of those push tops which mean the top can be push half way open (standard). The bottle contains 200 ml of products. This is a vegan product. The product claims to be an excellent choice for sensitive skin which need rich moisturizing. The product does not contain any fragrances, colors or preservatives. The skin gets a soothing and cooling effect. The product also contains panthenol, vitamin E which protects the skin from free radicals and slows down skin aging and the products has been dermatologically approved.
SunDance sensitive apres balsam makeup review details
Now let’s be honest about how much this SunDance sensitive Apres Balsam gave during my makeup review test period, one month. The products truly does not have any fragrance (big plus) and my skin absorbed the product quite quite as if it hadn’t drunk anything in ages. I however, did not notice any cooling effect but soothing to somewhat but nothing over the top. I did feel that my skin got the necessary hydration (after sun lotion) that is required after sun bathing. Since I do have sensitive skin, I can confirm that this did not irritate or dry out my skin. Comparing it to my other body creams I can say that I did use other body creams that have provided my skin with better hydration and even some with better cooling effect. The last time that I used an after sun lotion was a few years ago and can’t remember the brand for the life of me, but I know that it gave an instant and more noticeable cooling effect that this one.
makeup review conclusion of SunDance sensitive apres balsam
I can say that I do plan on using after sun lotions in the future since I do think that even though this one was not superb, I do believe that it was worth the money and it did do it’s job somewhat. I however do believe that I need an after sun lotion that offers a bit more hydration than SunDance sensitive Apres Balsam did. To conclude this makeup review, I can say that I do recommend this cream to people that have normal sensitive skin but if your skin is a bit more on the dry side that skip it and try to find an after sun lotion that is intended for dry skin. My skin seems to get drier with each new year.
