I have been using this product for a while now and have been waiting to write a review of this product. The time has finally come. The Nivea Aqua sensation cleansing gel is intended for normal to combination skin and it offers fresh, plump skin with hydra IQ and cucumber extracts. I originally bought this product because I felt that even thought I have combination, oily and acne prone skin, my skin required some form of additional hydration since my skin needs it. This is a common misunderstanding with acne skin, that it needs to be dried out, when it’s actually the opposite.

The Nivea AQUA sensation facial cleansing gel is intended for my skin type, so this is why it didn’t cause any additional breakouts. The gel deeply washes my skin and removes most traces of makeup and impurities. It does not remove eye makeup well, like any other cleansing gel. I have yet to meet on that does. What I really liked about this cleansing gel was that my skin felt clean after each use and hydrated, while feeling like it got a bit of a life and was left with a matte feeling. It kind of offers me a full experience. The gel contains some small white bead like granules which when they get in contain with water feel like they released a burst of additional water.

The Nivea Visage Aqua Sensation Invigorating Facial Cleansing Gel, when I used it, felt like I was splashing my face with the purest and freshest water. It’s hard to explain how much additional water feeling and sensation was released from those white beads. I feel in love with this product after only 3 uses and my skin responded with an amazing response. My skin felt hydrated and a live. It looked fresher and dewier after using this product. Currently I used up the entire product and plan to repurchase it in the fall since I am testing a few other cleansing gels and plan to write a post up on them. I will also be trying the face cream from this collection because I just have to see what my skin will react like to the Nivea Visage Aqua Sensation Invigorating face cream.

This is currently my number one facial cleaning gel, even though my cousin, who has the same skin type, didn’t like it and felt that it over dried her skin (she has a totally different experience with this product). I personally love it and plan to repurchase it as soon as possible.
