Makeup Revolution I heart Makeup Goddess Of Love Triple Baked Highlighter Review & Swatches

After falling in love with my MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter, I have found it hard to be happy with any other brand. Recently I got a PR goodie box, you might have read my reviews of Makeup Revolution hot smoked and I heart chocolate palette, and was sent this new the I ♡makeup Goddess of Love triple baked highlighter for consideration for a makeup review and swatches. I quickly looked up the highlighter online to see what other beauty bloggers have written about it and can say based on the many positive reviews; I had high hopes for this highlighter. The highlighter looks like a dupe for Too Faced sweethearts blush, at least in shape.

Goddess Of Love Triple Baked Highlighter

Makeup revolutions’ sister company I ♡makeup made this cool Goddess of Love triple baked highlighter which is a triple baked highlighter shaped into a 3D heart. It claims to be able to “capture” everyone’s heart, whatever that means. That is all the description offered on their website. Looking at the swatches on their website, it looks like a white highlighter which should go well on the majority of skin tones. At first the swatches on the website are not true to be honest. You can see my swatches below and see how subtle the swatches are and these swatches were done with my finger. It seems that when using your fingers to swatch, you pick up less product. When using a brush, you pick up more.

This highlighter is the color of champagne, which means it will look good on most skin tones, but might not look the best on olive and golden or yellow skin tones due to the pink hues due to it not complimenting olive undertones. If applied with a light touch, then it can go on any undertone. I do think that this highlighter is better for pink, neutral, red and blue undertones from light to dark skin tones. The Makeup revolution I ♡makeup Goddess of Love triple baked highlighter, comes on very subtle and is not as intense as my MUA Academy Undress Your Skin highlighter. The Goddess of Love triple baked highlighter, contains less shimmer and is more of a pearly or frosty finish, which looks very good in photography. You get 10 grams of product in the packaging what will last you for an entire year for sure, if not longer, since the product is well pigmented and a little goes a long way.

The texture of the highlighter is very soft and it’s finely milled which is why there are no visible shimmers or participles when applied on the skin and it doesn’t grasp onto pores. You have seen me using this highlighter in a few of my recent makeup tutorials on my YouTube channel. The Makeup Revolution I heart makeup goddess of love triple baked highlighter is part of the blushing hearts collection, which includes a highlighter, two bronzers and three multicolored blushes at a very affordable price. Overall, this is comparable to the MUA academy highlighter, but it’s much more finely mild and subtler. If you love that natural glow, then this Makeup revolution Goddess of Love triple baked highlighter is for you.
