I ran into a post online, I will post the link below, on how to use household items for your beauty.
Here are a few things which I have done before, and that have worked for me, the rest can be read online:
- Baking soda
Dreams, colors and glitter -Little tip-(added after posting)
the baking soda is amazing for the teeth but you have to use just a tiny bit because it can cause damage to the enamel.
My mom did this before teeth whitening tooth paste hit the shelves.
- A Spa Treatment for Free!
For simple in-home hydrotherapy, start out your day with a hot steamy shower and just as you are finishing switch the water to cold for about 15 seconds. Repeat the process for two minutes. This hydrotherapy technique will revitalize your skin and give it a glow by stimulating the flow of blood through the skin.
I do this over the summer constantly to refresh my skin and give it a special glow, basically it also tightes your muscles… well at least for me.
I would focus on my thighs and my breasts
- Strawberries and honey … yummmy but not together 😉
Strawberry Mask: Mash together 1/4 cup fresh strawberries with 1/4 cup sour cream or yogurt, spread on clean skin, let sit for 15 minutes, and then rinse well. Strawberries are a natural source of salicylic acid (the same stuff found in acne products).
I have used honey for home made face masks but I have never used strawberries… I’ll give it a try.
- TEA TIME my dear
I have used tea as a natural cleansing toner … I have no idea why I stopped?
- Sugar doesn’t only cure a sweet tooth but it’s great for the body too 😉
Instead, make your own raw sugar body scrub — mix together 1/2 cup raw sugar with 1/4 cup light oil — use in the shower as an exfoliating body scrub (use caution as shower will be slippery after use).
I have done this method too but I used brown sugar since it’s a bit more of a thicker texture.
Well here is the link it’s really a good read… I will post more homemade remedy for beauty tips soon.
I have a book filled with these things especially for acne prone skin
