Biotherm Pure.fect skin anti-shine purifying cleansing gel makeup review, doesn’t come a surprise to you since if you have been following my previous Biotherm posts, such as the Summer escape beauty event by Biotherm and Clarisonic, you know that I got this product as a PR sample. I have tested this product for about 2 weeks and my skin told me that it was time to write a review, which would reflect on how this cleansing gel made my skin behavied. So far, my HG cleansing gel product is Nivea Aqua sensation; you can read that post and find out what my skin has loving that product. After you read this review, then check out that Nivea one so you will get an automatic comparison.
Biotherm Pure.fect skin anti-shine purifying cleansing gel
The Biotherm Pure.fect skin anti-shine purifying cleansing gel, is a newer product, which is intended for my skin types and my skin problems, acne, combination and oily skin. I was really looking forward to this product when I saw it in my goodie bag. The company claims that this product purifies the skin with a fine and delicate foam. As with most Biotherm products, this product does have that standard floral and citrus scent which does fade with time. The company claims that this cleansing gel controls shine for 8 hours and reduces pores and imperfections. The skin is left feeling smooth, matte and hydrated.
Biotherm Pure.fect skin anti-shine purifying cleansing gel makeup review
After using this product for two weeks. I started to notice a few things. The gel does offer noticeable hydration what I did like and my skin did feel smooth, clean and matte. I didn’t really keep a track if my skin was shine free for 8 hours, but I do believe that it did help control my skin’s shine for at least 2 hours. The scent doesn’t bother me to much, but it might be to intense for some people. The thing which I didn’t like about Biotherm Pure.fect skin anti-shine purifying cleansing gel and I wanted to mention in this makeup review, was that my skin sadly didn’t like it. After the first week my skin did start to break out with acne spots after a very long period of acne free skin, which I can thank to my regular use of La Roche-Posay Duo (+) plus. I continued to use the product and my skin kept getting worse. I do have to mention that I did change my diet and due to a busy work schedule started to consume refined sugar and wheat. If you have been reading my posts on twitter, you do know that I do not eat refined sugar, diary and wheat since I am intolerant to it and I get bloated and my skin does know how to get break out due to eating food like this. So, keeping this in mind it could have helped with my skin breaking out too that fast and not just by using this Biotherm cleansing gel, I just thought I would note that.
Biotherm Purefect skin anti-shine purifying cleansing gel conclusion
My skin has been slowly recovering from everything for the past two weeks after I have used this product and as soon as I stopped using it my small white post started to clear up and I resumed with my normal summer skin care routine. Overall this Biotherm Purefect skin anti-shine purifying cleansing gel didn’t work well with my skin and I will pass it on to another friend and will update this review so that there is another view on this product, but with the same skin type, just to see if they get different results than I did.
